This strain started with an accident—a bag of Chemdog seeds passed around after a Grateful Dead concert. Among those seeds, one unique phenotype emerged, exuding a bold, diesel-like aroma and crisp cerebral effects. AJ was one of the few to recognize its potential and dedicated himself to preserving its genetic purity.
This phenotype became Sour Diesel, gaining its reputation across New York’s legacy cannabis scene. What set AJ’s version apart was its consistency. AJ refused to dilute the strain with hybrids, making sure every generation remained faithful to the original.
